Great ways to detox your mind and body


  1. Drink water before every meal or snack, just to make sure you do not mistake thirst for hunger.

  2. Cook your meals at home, and be mindful when you eat your cooked meal.

  3. Make vegetables and fruits your main food.

  4. Buy organic food when possible.

  5. Keep your gut healthy, eat fermented foods like kefir, yogurts, sauerkraut, miso, etc.

  6. Avoid packaged foods with ingredients you do not understand.

  7. Spend time with people who support your healthy habits.

  8. Identify two people that give you negative energy and make a conscious decision not to invest anymore time in them.

  9. Get in touch with your emotions, give yourself permission to feel what you feel, without pushing emotions away, what if the only way to heal hurt is through feeling the hurt...

  10. Go on a daily walk in the nature, with no distractions.

  11. Practice mindfulness once or twice a day.

  12. Learn to meditate.

  13. Swap TV for reading.

  14. Put your phone away after 8:00 pm

  15. Take a soothing bath before bedtime, with magnesium and Epsom salts and natural bath oils.

  16. Prepare your sleeping environment, pick a regular hour to go to bed and stay consistent with it, even during weekends, get at least 8 hours sleep

  17. Stop comparing yourself to others, you are unique.

  18. Re think your current job, enroll on a course for a career that you always dreamt of.
